This afternoon we received our 2nd package from home. This one took 6 weeks to arrive and came just at the right time. We waited until after dinner to open it. I should have been thoughtful enough to take pictures, but I was sitting on the floor at Joel's feet just like the kids.
It was like Christmas as Joel opened the box and slowly passed things out...Dade's car set we left behind because we didn't have enough space, Dara's pocket knife she requested, a couple of new and a couple of old stuffed animals, ranch dressing powder, SKITTLES, pretzels (mostly whole, believe it or not), clothes, Joel's black shoes, pop tarts, Cheez-its, and numerous other things that will be cherished for days to come (and we'll probably all put on some weight with all the snacks that were sent). How wonderful!
I don't want to go on and on and on about how great it was to receive the box of treasures from home. Thank you so much!!!

Glad to hear that the boxes are beginning to arrive. Hope the rest get there safe and sound. Maybe Christmas will last a long time this year!
