Happy Birthday, Baby!

Today is Joel's 36th birthday and I am so blessed to be loved

by this wonderful man.

He is the one I can always count on to be in my corner and who lets

me lean on him through all life sends our way.

God gave me so much more than I deserved when He allowed me

to be married to Joel. There is no one I admire and respect

more than him. He is my soul mate and my best friend.

Joel, I love knowing we have the privilege to face the rest of our life

together.

Stinky Hill

Just thought ya'll might enjoy this little story. On Saturday, Jill had a long list of "honey-do's" and we stayed busy in the yard. Part of my job for the day was taking some brush and misc junk to the dump. The first trip I went by myself, but on the second one, Dade decided to go with me. He munched ice cream on the way there and helped me throw all the junk into the big dumpsters and the metal pile.

As we were leaving, Dade looked at me and asked, "are we going to the stinky hill now?" I laughed as I asked him what the stinky hill was. He said it was around the corner at the top of the hill. For those that have never been to your local dump, he was referring to the place where all the garbage trucks dump their loads. I asked him why in the world he would want to go there. He just smiled and said matter of factly, "I like to go up there and roll down my window and make Mommy smell it." And then he laughed and giggled.

As Jill says, he is ALL boy!!!!!!
